The Animal Away uses an inaudible ultrasonic sound that only the
unwanted animals can hear. The built-in motion sensor has a 45
foot detection area, and is more effective than a device that is just
constantly emitting. The sudden burst of noise (23,000Hz) is more
likely to startle the animal and the animal learns quickly that in order
to stop the noise, they must leave the area. The unit is weatherproof, and can be
wall, tree, post, or even stake mounted. The Animal Away is a wireless
device, and is powered by one 9-volt battery.
